HELLO! :D

At my uncle's house right now. Haha yay I can use the computer at their house! :D My parents are contemplating letting me come here when I finish late at schl, but the problem is that when my aunt's maternity leave is over, the maid will go to the grandparents' house or something and I will be left ALONNNE at their house. D: sad, right?

Anyway, I came back late (LATE by innocent-orientation-sec1 definition is 3.45 p.m., by the way... yes, weird, right? XD LOL) because I went for elps auditions thing. It was great! Elps, if you didn't know, is english language publications society, which I am going to put for my 1st choice in cca selection unless I fall in love with another cca. which is not rather possible right now, because I just learnt I didn't get talent-spotted for ANY sports cca (SO SAD! I WANT JUDO! JJUUUUDDDOO! nvm ><) and also, during the elps auditions which were held in the history room thing, which overlooks the quadrangle, we saw npcc marching.

nvm that's not what I wrote. the topic was an experience that changed your life, so I wrote about choosing to join the GEP because it was a decision that will stay with me forever and it was an experience. an Experience with a capital E! lol.

today was the last day of orientation. SOB, PEOPLE. ORIENTATION ROCKS. and we didn't darn appreciate it. how sad. tomorrow we have LESSONS! I have my timetable in my bag but I'm too lazy to check it. Wednesday... All I know is that on Tuesday first lesson is dance. lol.

ok I realize I flamed pretty bad on my previous posts. sorry Fiona if any offence was taken, but I was pretty irritated then. I have to try to control moi temper! :X

Bought my aquamarine laces from Mini Toons yesterday. My sneakers look so much more colourful with them! <3 I was surprised they (the laces) cost only $.150; somehow my memory told me they cost $4.90. So in total my sneakers + laces cost $18.40 and I wanted to pay my mum but she told me only need to pay her $10! thanks Mum! <3

on friday we had loads of fun. telematch is <3! yay 1-12 got FIRST! yayyayyay! lol we got two packets of sweets as a prize and even though we distributed 3 sweets to EACH PERSON (btw there's 22 ppl in our class) we still had some leftover: just enough to do a little minisweetheart on the teacher's desk for mrs. wong, who's our form teacher. I hope she saw them. I don't want the sweets to rot over the weekend!!! X_X

amazing race was so tiring. we didn't get our recess. so during lunch I wolfed down the fishball noodles. which was super hot. (NO PUN INTENDED, CHINGYING... NO PUN INTENDED...)

today had to take 45-min car journey to church of the holy cross, where my cousin natalie got baptised today. natalie IS SO CUTE!!!!! REALLY!!!! super huggable. and she didn't cry much today. really cute and good baby. :D

then we went to eat at a riding club or something. the scenery there is super amazing and there's a golf course too. the food was OK. mango pudding is LOVELY!

going back to school tmr. it's OK. but very tiring! even though we start at 8.20 tmr, bus driver says have to pick up at 5.50 as usual cos he has other ppl to pick up frm kindergartens, workers, etc. very sad! so my mum said tell bus driver not taking school bus tmr. I sleep in about one more hour (YAY MUM I LOVE YOU LOTS) and she'll take me to schl via public transport. :DD

on friday there were two weird guys who sat behind us. my mum and I suspected they would follow us off. even if I threw one girl onto the mat during judo, and my mum had a giordano (?) bright orange poky umbrella, I don't think we could've thrown them off. but they didn't follow us. heng ah. they looked pretty thuggish and kept kicking our seats from behind, damnit.

if this happens when I take school bus, I HAD BETTER TAKE JUDO. but you can't wrestle on a bus. even though it might not be crowded. hmph.

fiona, your height doesn't matter in your cca. or in pretty much anything. just stuff like basketball. so STOP WORRYING SO MUCH ABOUT IT. and I don't think trampolines help people grow taller.

today was sports CCA selection! so fun!!

so far I want shooting. but the rifle and pistol are kind of heavy and there must be a certain position to stand and hold the thing. my name wasn't ticked for holding the rifle and pistol, but mine was for balancing. which was kind of easy.

if shooting doesn't work out- or even if I get shooting, I'm considering english publications. it sounds like fun and something I do. which is basically WRITING. (that was self-explanatory.)

if not. judo is still quite fun. but I can't roll and that was the first test. I flopped to the side. like Fiona, lol. My side hurt for a while. but throwing is quite easy. left hand on opponent's right elbow sleeve, right hand around opponent's left-hand-side waist (and this isn't sick), squat a bit, turn... throw. taa-daa. they ticked my name for throwing.

then gymnastics, lol. got selected to try out on the big trampoline thingy. but went so high I got nervous and fell to the side. VERY PAINFUL, OKAY? X_X I think the older gymnastics girls were probably amused by us all. there was this long trampoline at the side, not so bouncy, and all of us were jumping on it. LOL.

ok, hmm. put down my name for netball but didn't sign up for basketball cos I relearnt that I'm 3/4 hopeless at dribbling. XD

oh yah. fiona and jun hui know elaine, eugene and bernard ! so surprised and happy. it's a small world. elaine used to be in their choir and eugene used to be in their school. that's all I know.

read fiona's blog. fiona, your frankness is like any shps's flaming. quite used to it. (NOT.) but anyway I find it unreasonable. and that's being frank too. it's quite a commendment to have a so called lame phone and be pleased with it. at least your parents don't have to fork out more money for a newer less lame phone (too lazy to put ""s) and also they don't have to listen to me whingeing for a new phone. cos I'm perfectly contented with mine, unlike a lot of people.

thanks for the bit about the mp3, but this is all very material. who cares about your friends' handphones and mp3s, fiona? srsly. if you want people to click with you, forget these things. concentrate on your FRIENDS, not your FRIEND'S THINGS. I think that's why I clicked with jun hui more, sry. (and jun hui, sry for talking about you like a 3rd person point of view- is it 3rd person? anyway it's only one sentence.)

also, fiona... do me a favour... BE OPTIMISTIC FOR ONE DAY. if I'm too used to your pessimisticness, I'll tell you and you can revert back to it. but honestly it's very very very hard for a most-of-the-time optimist like myself to get used to a pessimist. it brings people down and sometimes irritates them. be HAPPY! ENJOY! :D get it?

tomorrow more cca stuff and amazing race and telematch. not sure what telematch is. but amazing race is srsly fun sounding. XD

berate me, people. I went off for a very long call with nicolette (my throat is so dry, I'm drinking an ice coke now) and when I came back, dared to resume listening to DON'T CHA. "don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like ME"

ok. first query. HOW WAS YOUR FIRST DAY.

My first day was great, thanks! ok. wake up 5.20, get ready and go downstairs by 5.40+, bus supposed to come at 5.50 but came at 5.48 (small diff.), mostly went around pasir ris-tampines-simei, then went off to nanyang and got there around 6.50 or so. no jam, only a very very very small one at the U-turn from HCI to NYGH.

we had the morning flag-raising in chinese. like all the STAND AT EASE, STAND AT ATTENTION all in Chinese, so since I couldn't really hear what was being said I just followed what the seniors were doing, LOL. then we had the school song. in chinese. first impression was that I'd never be able to sing it and it sounded operaish.

then later we went to the audi for some talks and to learn the school song and with the lyrics in front of you, it isn't that bad; I learnt how to sing it (it's high-pitched and very feminine so if a guy sings it in the midst of all those gals it's damn obvious) and it's not so operaish anymore, it's very nice. and not just in a school-proud way, in an aestatic (is that what you call it?) way too, it's very beautiful.

and then went back to class, interaction with our FT (who is mrs. wong-tan poh yee and she looks a bit like xiang yun or whatever that I Not Stupid channel 8 actress's name is, sry; and she is rly like chen lao shi and very nice except she's married and has 2 kids - both daughters XDXD) and our PSLS, and then recess from 10.30 to 11. ate a waffle. rly nice. :D

then went back up... psl session... played icebreaker games. we only played 1 with our FT, this time we played 2 (splat and mingle, both are rly fun, mingle is funnier), and then we had a school tour with our PSLs. the schl seems ginormous after shps (which of course is to be expected) and I COULD get lost. there are like 3 audi.s? the siew may one where the selection test was and then two smaller ones: one used during open house (the bigger of the smaller ones) and the smaller of the smaller ones I hadn't used before. it looks almost the same, except instead of a platform at the bottom there's this long table and several chairs. for the tchrs, I guess.

ok this guy just walked downstairs singing. he sounds funny. rly funny. rofl.

had lunch. unlike rgs, our lunch is 1 hour long, lol. rgs is half an hour. dhs? not so sure. X_X anyway ours is- oh gosh forgot what time lunch is, lol. ate char siew rice. lots of char siew, medium amount of rice. ok standard. then we had another 2 talks I think, then learnt school song (the whole thing) and then sang it formally for the first time with music accompaniment (first times singing it was accapella, however you spell that) and WE WERE DISMISSED :D

I met two new friends today from concord primary. FIONA and JUN HUI! <3 Must link you guys after this.
